There are some here that would call R Alomar greedy if he turned down that contract. Laughable.

I wouldn't call him greedy. I think it is absolutely insane that $1 million would keep a player of Robbie Alomar's stature off this team when we could definitely use a 2nd Baseman to save from the mockery that would be Willie Harris out there everyday.

When I hear something like this, I get real concerned that we won't be signing anyone of any value come the end of the month.
