i believe his thinking is, by not spending, for 2 to 3 more seasons, in which time the Cubs and Red Sox will have won world series.
This makes the White Sox the team that has gone the Longest without winning a series.
I think he believes Everyone- The Media-The Fans- The rest of America, will be Rooting for the WHITE SOX to win it all!!!!
he could in 3 years put together an outstanding team that would win it.
In the mean time we suffer.
so we have to wait for the Flubs and Carmines to win it.
THAT IS ALL it will take.
