It must have fallen off their message boards. It said we will sign Payton to a 3 year deal. I have a feeling it is bogus. Also said KW has talked to the agents of Ponson and J. Johnson which I think we already know.

I haven't heard anything. Payton is on a few poster's wish lists here at WSI. Payton has tons of potential and put together a good season last year. With Shoeneweis and Cotts & Co. as our #4 and #5 starters, not to mention the holes in the bullpen, I'm hoping the Sox limited moves this offseason will focus on the pitching staff.
