This may be moot, but if the ARod deal still happens, Phil Rogers' new column (http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/cs-031218rogers,1,637099.column?coll=cs-home-headlines) says the Maggs trade would likely be contingent on sending Nomar to the Dodgers.

The price, according to sources, could be paid one of two ways: either 20-year-old right-hander Edwin Jackson, Mota and the 20-year-old Gutierrez or the more credentialed (and less valuable) Perez, Mota, Miller, who will pitch in Double-A at age 19, and another prospect.

I'd be happy with either package and I hope Kenny won't settle for less. The bullpen would become a huge strength and depending on the package we'd have about $5-9 million to fill other holes.

If Evans won't meet that price (or if the ARod deal is dead), I think KW should keep Maggs and instead trade Lee for a starter. He's much easier to replace.
