This was written at the end of Jim baker's column that I just read on ESPN.com:
...Koch, while by no means perfect, at least performs a function the Mets need. If the White Sox succeed in trading Magglio Ordonez and get Cedeno from the Mets, imagine the horror for the poor Chicago fan:
Where once stood Ordonez -- the epitome of a solid performer -- would now stand Cedeno, a defensive and offensive liability who no longer even steals bases, the one thing at which he used to excel. It's quite nearly a nightmare concept for the loyal White Sox rooter.
