Hi gang, long time lurker. Haven't posted that much.

Once again I just don't get it. The White Sox had what?
1.9 million last year in attendance. I would say that's
pretty damn good.

Granted the Cubs had 3 mil which is unbelievable, but
2 million is terrific. How many other teams can make this
kind of claim?

Reinsdorf runs the club like a business, but how much
profit do they really need? This organization is not bleeding
money. They had terrific national exposure with the All-Star
game. Chris Berman made comments on how terrific the
Cell is now. Merchandising sales are very strong. This team
makes money.

While KW has done some questionable things. I feel strongly
about the moves he made last year. Losing Gordon and Alomar
now don't bother me much, but losing Sullivan, Everett (after the
meager deal he signed) and Graffanino bothered me.

With Hendry on his way to becoming executive of the decade,
with his signings, just think about how bad things can become
when we don't spend ANY MONEY.

Not one free agent signing of any type? Just being in downsize
mode? I don't think this team right now is a winner, but some
changes and spending say $75 mil could make things rosier.

If the Cubs actually do start winning, things could be real lousy
for our ballclub.

Sox fans deserve better. I hope KW pulls a rabbit out of his
hat, but I am not anticipating that. Not getting a major deal
done with Magglio is shameful too

Attendees at SoxFest will have a fateful decision to make...

The Ross Gload line or the Jason Grilli line?

It isn't. That's about 300K below the major league median.

19. (20 if you count the Twinkies who missed 2 mil but outdrew us)

with his signings...

That's a gross overstatement.
