Colon's four-year deal is worth $51 million. It includes an $8 million signing bonus and salaries of $9 million in 2004, $8 million in 2005, $12 million in 2006 and $14 million in 2007. Frankly, Congrats to Kenny. I am glad he didn't get baited into matching/outbidding this deal. 4/51 and some possible incentives to boot? I am sorry - that is just too much money for Colon.
