Right. Plus, he's been gone since Monday since the Sox didn't offer arbitration. No way in hell that he would sit out until May 1 to come back to Chicago now.

Well, I didn't know the Rays made a contract offer to him. I must have missed the other threads.

Man, people on this board can be so snobby at times. Give the guy a break, he was just posting some info. Jeez.

I agree. I had heard this rumour before, but it's nice to know when a contract is actually offered. Nice post habibharu.
