Clause: If traded, '04 and '05 salaries increase by $0.5.

The Dodgers have to know of this clause and would have to know that they'd be getting a contract of $8.5 and $9.25.

I would literally pay 8.5 mil of Perez and Konerko's deals this year and the Dodgers would only pay 3.4 mil if that meant we could shift our resources from slow right handed hitting to starting pitching.
