Im far from an expert with the teams salary structure and all that. Why isnt there a salary cap in baseball? That would seem to solve all the "poor team" problems. Maybe someone can shed some light for me??

The players union would have to accept a salary cap. So far they have said no.

Yeah i figured so. Sorry, i have to side with the owners here. It would seem that it would be for the good of the game.
