Per ESPN 1000

Ramon Hernandez and Terrance Long for Mark Kotsay and another player I believe. Good, now T-Long won't kill the Sox anymore.

I didn't know Kotsay was available. He would have looked very good patrolling center field next year for the Sox.

Hernandez caught a lot of games for the A's. Wonder what's up?

Adam Melhuse and Mike Rose (.262/.390/.425 for Sacramento) will most likely take over catching duties.

Billy Beane is at it again. Kotsay will probably hit 50 homers and bat .320 now.

Because you know Beane is the smarteest man in baseball. Just ask him.

Hey....I agree that Beane is overrated, but once you get past the fact that Beane was the one who gave Long that terrible deal, Kotsay's numbers will probably feel like that after watching Long for that time frame

I just don't know if he has a C ready to go....jury is still out on that one
