In perusing ahead in this week's TV guide, I noticed that ESPN Classic has the Sox vs. Mariners on Saturday, 11/15 at 4:00 PM Central time. Since I know that the Sox played the Blue Jays in the playoffs in '93, I'm guessing that this is the clinching game, featuring Bo Jackson's "moon shot" home run. I was there for that game, so I hope I'm right. Anybody else got any info on this?

http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tvlistings/schedule?date=20031115&network=18 That should get you there.
it is 9/27/93 so I believe it is the division clincher.

Every now and then, ESPN Classic airs Tom Seaver's 300th win, but that is only because the Yankees are involved! :D:

ESPN classic shows a Red Sox vs. White Sox game from 1990, and I also saw a Red Sox vs. White Sox game from the 80's. Both games were a Fenway. The game from the 80's had Harry and Piersal on commentary.

It would be nice to see games that took place at Old Comiskey. You got me excited because I thought the Sox/Mariners game mentioned above was the last game at OCP.

The non-catch by Brunansky in rightfield was 1990. Would like to see that Harry & Jimmy game though.

You know which game I'd like to see on ESPN Classic? The no-hitter that Andy Hawkins pitched and LOST vs. the Sox. I think the game was 7/1/90, on the anniversary of OCP in the final season there. I read somewhere that the no-hitter has been taken away since then, as he only pitched 8 innings, but the fact remains that the Sox won with NO hits that day.

I thought it was an omen for that season, but for those damn A's...
