2004 Sox Calender

A friend just gave me part of my Xmas gift early and it is a 2004 Sox calender. It is pretty damned funny, IMO.

The cover is the monthly shots of Frank, Maggs, Buehrle and Konerko, but the monthly ones include Colon, Jimenez, Rowand and Koch in addition to some of the other players.

I just thought it was hilarious that 2 players who either have been gone for 5 months or have already turned down a FA offer and another two who aren't starters or are complete wastes of roster spots got honored.

Who puts this crap together anyway?

I saw that the other day when I was at the store. It seems like they are like that every year. I don't understand why they do that.

My 2003 Sox calendar has Royce Clayton, Keith Foulke, and Todd Ritchie on it. I don't recommend buying these calendars.

At least they're getting more timely. My 2000 calendar has Aurelio Rodriguez and Wayne Tolleson.
