View Full Version : Easy solution: move the Sox to the N.L.

It seems everyone here is either happy or pissed about Ozzie depending on our personal preference for sacrifice bunts, "small ball," and "doing little things" to win. The solution that will make everyone happy, including Sox management, is obvious:

Move the Sox to the National League.

The DH will be gone and the pitcher will be batting every other inning or so. Everyone will be happy because we'll see lots of bunts by the #9 hitter, lots of walks given to the #8 hitter, and plenty fewer runs scored thus making our "pitching and defense" way to playing baseball even more successful.

I estimate the Sox will win about a gazillion championships. :smile:

Alright so the NL will then have 4 more teams than the AL.

And move the Cubs over to the AL?

Then Kerry Wood won't be able to hit any more HR's for them, will he?

this is one of the biggest overreactions i have seen at this site. ozzie says he wants to play smart baseball and he's fried for it.
