I think most of us are pretty blah on the prospect of Cito Gaston in a White Sox uni this year.

However, in my opinion, Cito wouldn't be a bad fit for the Bosox, now that Grady Little has gotten the gas pipe. He does a pretty good job with in-game management and he's good with a veteran team.

Here are the Red Sox candidates that someone named Sean McAdam gave to ESPN:

Good Shots
BUD BLACK
TERRY FRANCONA
JOEL SKINNER
GLENN HOFFMAN

Long Shots
BRUCE BOCHY
JIM TRACY
MIKE HARGROVE

No Shots
DAVEY LOPES
BOBBY VALENTINE
CHARLIE MANUEL

I'd really like to see some other names on the Sox candidate list - Buddy Bell, Cito, Francona and Ozzie just don't do it for me.

Have the Red Sox ever had a manager of color? That team and to some extent the town itself are notorious for being racist. I am curious if Cito would be a good fit...
