...He's simply a victim of wacko fans and a goofy element of pop-culture curiosity, the kind of no-lifers who have posted the following photos and illustrations on Web sites:
* Bartman superimposed with Jennifer Lopez on an ad for the movie flop "Gigli''
* Bartman playing Lucy and pulling out a football from under a tumbling Charlie Brown
* Bartman posing with Siegfried and Roy and a certain tiger
* Bartman jumping around after kicking Rodney King
* Bartman suspended in a David Blaine-type container
* Bartman posing as John Wilkes Booth
* Bartman beside the burning Colosseum in Rome
* Bartman missing the field goal for the Buffalo Bills in the 1991 Super Bowl.
It's all pretty silly, really, in a world with bigger issues. Rather than run from the madness, Bartman should have a news conference and try to have fun with the moment.
