Tonight the beloved Marlins try to take the lead in the series, Brad Penny takes the hill for the Fish, as former Sox bust David Wells takes the mound for the evil empire. Strap it down as Game 5 of the 2003 World Series is NEEEEEXXXXXT!

This is going to get ugly for the Yankees really quickly ... and I'm loving every minute of it. :D:

Flair up of back problems. Probably the same problem he had in 2001 with us

And I wonder if he's probably ripping Jason Giambi for not playing tonight at the same time.

Karim Garcia is still a jerk.

The Yankees are really pulling out the big guns now.

Chris Hammond is pitching.

Cabrera just missed one, but Pudge did a nice job tagging up.

That's Marlins baseball.

I hope David Wells is done...for good. I am sick of seeing his fat ass.

If I never see Clemens again, that really wouldn't bother me, either. Or Karim Garcia for that matter. Or Aaron Boone, just because his brother does that rediculous bat-flip thing.

I like Jeter and Posada, though.

4-1 fish.

Two Words for everyone:
Joe Torre

6-1 Fighting Fish, and George does not look very comfortable on Fox's BossCam.

Good to see the Yankees doing some Keystone Kops out there on defense.

6-1 Fish. Lookin' good!

Jeb Bush and Danny Glover in the house!

See the shirt Danny Glover had on? I think it was the Service Employees Union. Wonder what that is all about.

White Sox baserunning, Marlins luck.

What is wrong with the Yankees?

Menawhile, the Marlins have the lead 6-1 going to the bottom of the 6th inning.

Did anyone see what happened right after Pudge got to third safely on the Yankees error in the 5th? Pudge knows he pulled a gaffe and got out of it, but Ozzie still went over and had a quick word with him.

I am liking what I am seeing.

Yankees lose this series get ready for Soriano-for-Ordonez rumors. :D:

Phew! Bernie W. swings at the first pitch, and Penny gets out of a potential disaster of an inning.

6-2 Fish with just 6 outs to go.

Wow, I can't belive the vaunted Enrique Wilson and Nick Johnson aren't tearing it up in the place of Soriano and Giambi.

"And Derrek Lee retires Matsui for a Marlins winner!!!"

WhiteSox = Life

What a pick by Lee on a smash by Matsui!

That is a fantastic play, and on the line, too!

That replay makes it look even better.

Wow!

Marlins win, 6-4, despite the Yankees best attempts to come back.

They showed a shot of Steinbrenner... Anyone want to guess what he was thinking on that hard hit out?

:)

Can anyone say they would rather have Maggs than Soriano? I love Maggs, but Soriano would be awesome at 2B. Sure we'd need to get a high quality defensive SS to help shore up the IF, but I could live with that.

PIPE DREAM....

As I have been all series, I was in the marlinsbaseball.com AIM chat tonight. Lot of fun in there, anyways, great game, and good to see the fish 1 win away from taking the cake, although they make it WAY too interesting. GO MARLINS!!!!
