The latest poll on the front page of ChicagoSports.com (http://www.chicagosports.com) says the Sox's September fade is the least disappointing of the Chicago sports teams so far (Bulls notwithstanding, I suppose)...

1) Cubs (Lead 3-1 in NLCS), 1352 responses, 41.6%
2) Bears (1-5 start), 1005 responses, 30.9%
3) Sox (Faded in Sept.), 896 responses, 27.5%

So we're the least disappointing in a town of losers? So we got that going for us, which is nice.

To be honest, I'm not sure how anyone is that dissapointed with the Bears start. I really never thought they would be that good this season. Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I don't see what the big deal is. The Bears had plenty of holes coming into the season. Six games in, they have even more holes now. I don't see why so many people are surprised by their struggles.
