Anyone else catch this?
I liked the plays of the season especially:

:hawk
"And they are going to have to tarp on the field here in Toronto..."

:DJ
"And this is supposed to be a dome! What a bunch of nimrods!"

Farewell to 2003. That ends this season for me I guess. I can't wait till 2004! :)

Melton is big on Shoenweis being the 5th starter.

A double dose of Hangar in the high lights, first with the 2000 sign and then the 400 sign.

I only caught the tail end. Melton seemed pretty disgusted when wrapping up his perspective on the season. He wasn't blaming Jerry Manuel by name but it was pretty clear who he was disgusted with.

It was on 7-8 pm this evening. I'm sure FSN-Chicago will take a break from back-to-back runnings of the Best Damned Sports Show Period, You Gotta See This, and 54321 sometime between now and next spring to show it again.

I liked the ending where it showed all the highlights of the season

No doubt Melty was disgusted.

Darren Andrews really looked timid and awkward interviewing KW.

I checked upcoming TV listings and this is next scheduled to air on Fox Sports Net on October 30 at 8PM.

KW's comments about CF were revealing. It was the only position where we have a free agent that he didn't sound too confident that we would bring him back. He seemed to be referring to Everett in the past tense and quickly brought up how they have "options" in CF like Aaron Rowand and Willie Harris. He hinted that they would be fighting it out for the CF job. I now move from 99% to 100% sure that Everett is gone.

FoulkeYou,

So now we have..zero legitimate left handed power threats in the lineup. With him, we had half of one.

It's a winning formula.

Bill Melton was extremely critical of Jerry Manuel. Following the double-header at Cleveland just prior to the AS Break, he actually told Dave Willis the following:

"He (Manuel) needs to go with more of a set lineup instead of changing it all the time. The hitters need to be able to settle into their roles."

When someone is that blunt in his criticism, it's obvious that there's a problem. Of course, Manuel did eventually lessen his tinkering, but not until after managment said something about it. Or at least that's the generally accepted explanation on this board. I can't think of any other reason why Manuel would have made the change himself, because he had never managed to stick with anything for long before.
