According to the New York Daily News, Don Zimmer has had it with George Steinbrenner and will quit (http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/127837p-114356c.html) at the end of the season. Interesting comments in the wake of an AL Pennant-clinching victory.

I don't know, but I think Vince McMahon offered him a contract since he sold the body slam that Pedro gave him so well. Even Steinbrenner can't compete with McMahon money!

More evidence that Zim has lost his (voodoo edit: please don't try to circumvent the language filters) mind. The guy's been making free money for the past 8 years sitting on the bench keeping Torre's seat warm for him and getting him coffee. Seems like a dream job, really.
