For some reason, the Sox haven't released their 2004 schedule yet, but a lot of teams have. Below are the links to AL (and NL east) teams that have. If a person had some time to kill (which I do not), they could probably put together a significant portion of the Sox schedule:

Baltimore (http://baltimore.orioles.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/bal/schedule/schedule2004.jsp)

Toronto (http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/tor/schedule/schedule_2004.jsp)

Tampa Bay (http://tampabay.devilrays.mlb.com/tb/downloads/2004_rays_sked.pdf)

Cleveland (http://www.mlb.com/cle/downloads/schedule2004_101103.pdf)

Minnesota (http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/min/downloads/2004_schedule_1008.pdf)

Anaheim (http://anaheim.angels.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/ana/schedule/tentative04.jsp)

Kansas City (http://kansascity.royals.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/kc/scheduling/schedule2004.jsp)

I believe the Sox have not released it yet because they're not sure what city the Expos will be playing in.

That excuse doesn't work, though, because Minnesota plays at the Expos too, and released their schedule (I just noticed, though - it just says "Expos", and every other team lists the city).

Something else I realized, if you assume all the "natural rival" interleague series are the same two weekends, and that they do all the ones in NL parks one weekend and all the ones in AL parks the other, then based on Minnesota's schedule we'll play at the Cubs June 18th-20th and they'll come to the Cell June 29th-July 1st.

(And of course, that first Sunday I'm getting married, and then I'll probably be on my honeymoon the second, so for the first time in a couple years, I might not go to a game. Unless I can get tickets to that Friday at Wrigley. Hmm.)

Minnesota will be playing the Yankees in August and late September. They play us 6 times in September. We play KC 8 times in September. KC and Minnesota play each other late too.

Minnie will not be playing Detroit late in September this season, but they get the Indians. Minnie gets Detroit 4 times in early September, and no times in August. Minnie will get Seattle, Oakland, and New York in August.

Seems like only the Indians will play Detroit with two weeks into the season based on this. Without seeing Detroit's schedule I'm thinking we might be that other AL Central team to play them late next year.

Hopefully next year's team will learn not to take Detroit lightly. If we get up this year for them, we can win this division. But as always, you need to get off to a fast start.

At least next year the final series against the Twins will be at Comiskey Park and not the Horror Dome.

The schedule makers are lazy. They hardly changed anything from this year. Ugh.

The Tigers (June 15-17) and Orioles (July 2-4) also come to Philadelphia as part of the Interleague schedule. The Phillies travel to Chicago (June 8-9), Minnesota (June 11-13) and Boston (June 25-27). While the Phillies have been to Fenway Park, this will be their first visit to U.S. Cellular Field and the Metrodome.

Sox at Camden Yards in early May? Well, that'll be my first mini-vacation of the year when I visit family in Virginia... then making a bee-line for the games.

Can't wait to fill my belly with Boog's BBQ ribs! :gulp:

I emailed them about this last week and they said "Additionally, MLB has not authorized the official release of the 2004 season schedule. This information should be available in the coming weeks. As soon as possible, we will email you the complete information"
