to win a postseason series that's more than 5 games.
Also, we were better than the Flubs head to head this year. And it only took us 5 games to beat them 4 times, not 7.
who cares?
how many teams are going around bragging that they've won a post season series.
all that matters is getting to the world series and winning it, which the cubs didn't do.
it dont mean a thing without the ring...

The point is that unless you make the world series you havent really won much of anything. A division title? So what you beat a few other teams. A league title, now that's special. The cubs can't say any more than they were NLCS participants

They won a series that didn't even exist 8 years ago.
