Yeah, Enc is a good hitter, but lowell on the bench??? I'm guessing Enc has great career numbers against wood or something....I have no idea. Well anyways, GO MARLINS!!!

Ok, but my question is, if you are going to put enc in, why not put him in rf, put cabs at ss, lowell at 3b, and leave sea bass aka alex gonzalez out of the lineup???

Because unlike Alex Gonzalez, Alex Gonzalez is a great fielder.

Interpret that the way you want

True, but Cabs isn't exactly a fielding liability at ss, or at least that's what i think....

A little patience goes a long way, just like Cabrera's drive.

Hey Kerry, if you don't fall off the mound after every pitch, you make that play easily. Yet Lyons and Brennerman kiss Kerry's behind anyway.

Veteran move by Conine to take away the throwing lane at the expense of his body. Did anyone see his at bat last night with a Prior fastball up and in? Conine dusted off and cinched it down and won that battle. Conine is a gamer.

If an RP is ready and able to go... I don't think I would. Penny was good last inning. Besides, Pierre got something going last night with one out. How about a repeat performance?

Either way, the sun comes up for me tomorrow... but I definitely would love to see the ScRuBs come apart like a $2.00 suit, just like last night.

Manuel couldn't take care of the most important thing and pull the right strings.

Christ, anybody see all the idiot cubs fans in the bleachers? Their team has pretty much just had its coffin nailed shut the previous inning and yet there they are, grinning from ear to ear and waving their beers around.

Um, you're assuming they're paying attention to the game or otherwise have some situational awareness as to the sporting event in front of them. You know what happens when you assume... :D:

Oops -- didn't know that this was a rule.

****ing Troy ****ing O'Leary!

Edit: I fully take the blame for that.

p.s. 6 outs left!

O'Leary with a pinch hit solo shot. Still 9-6 Fish. No worries yet.

Troy "Big Guns" O'Leary with the pinch-hit home run.

9-6, Fish still on top.

It's cool... It's cool...

These dolts have no place in postseason baseball.

Actually what is really freaky to me is the two thousand idiots jumping around like morons waving around ballon animals out in the street.
Can you picture all of us doing that at The Cell?
I can't!

...and 3 well-hit fly balls. I'm going to keep the knuckles white until this one ends.

Well, it's one of baseball's unwritten rules, I guess, so make of it what you will.

Lofton with a lazy can of corn to right. He gone.

We're into the 8th with a 9-6 Fish lead.

Beckett can't close this out. We need one more hot hand to bring us home!

Go Fish!!!

Yes! Don't even count it down in your own head.

By the way, I say keep Beckett in for the bottom of the 8th, but there's nothing wrong with getting Urbina up in the pen. The 8th will be a huge inning. Grud, Sosa, and Alou.

I think what we've seen the last 2 days for the Flubs is "reversion to the mean." They're not that good, and it's starting to catch up to them.

If I see fat ****ing piece of **** Randall Simon up swinging in the 9th, though, I think the Marlins pitches ought to tread lightly; that dude has the golden horseshoe dangling from his diznick like NOBODY'S business.

Not sure if they will bring in Dontrelle, but you can almost count on Urbina coming in.

I think most baseball coaches out there would call that an oxymoron.
