When asked by the Cubune today what would happen with the air raid sirens in case the Yuppies don't blow it:

Since it's "the other team" this time, "we don't see the need for the sirens," said Joyce, a lifelong South Sider. "It would startle some of the participants, and we wouldn't want them to spill their chardonnay."

Next time I see Commissioner Joyce at a Marist High School sporting event, I am going to personally congratulate him. He lives in the neighborhood, and I've seen him at Marist basketball games.
