I guess it's apparant that Paul's hr would have been off the wall if not for fan interference. The tiger pen is in that area and Ernie Harwell and his co-announcer were put out by the apparant "Who cares" attitude in the tiger pen. No one made a move to show any displeasure with the ump"s call, a lack off support for Garner. There's more problems here then just lack of talent.

It wouldn't have been fan interference. The fan didn't touch it until AFTER it bounced off the top of the wall. They didn't have anything to argue about...

Harwell is probably the most honest announcer in calling it the way it happens. Some of the write ups question the call. Of course Ernie's eye sight not what it used to be.
