And during the top half of the inning when Jesus got His first strikeout, did you see the placard in the stands reading "HE GONE"? As much as those Cub fans hate us and everyting we stand for, they don't mind stealing things from us.

Prior is gaining more confidence with every out. The Braves better start being aggressive, and not stupid-aggressive. Plenty of time left, but you don't want to fool around too much with a pitcher as good as Prior.

Above all, the Braves cannot allow Prior to get in a groove.

It's going to be a good game, hopefully with the result 97.391% of the posters here want.

Now, let's not go crazy, chr.

We all know it would've caromed off the dugout, where Maddux would have picked it up and thrown it to second to get the runner. The ball would skip past the shortstop and second baseman who crossed each other up, and the ball would have errantly gone into left-center field. With the runner easily sliding into third base, Andruw Jones would have thrown a bullet directly over third base and into the stands, sending the runner home.

As I've said before, Jesus is SO beatable tonight. Braves are being patient at the plate, getting his pitch count up. If they can get to the Flubs' bullpen only down 2 or less, I think they can pull this out, assuming Prior leaves in the 6th or 7th.

I think Gray Davis is more popular in the Bay Area right now.

Really, it was an error that could happen to anybody. In a sense, the error proved moot because Conine was eventually nailed at the plate. But the error, in reality, probably opened the floodgates.

Just think: if Robert Fick doesn't make that error, and Greg Maddux doesn't throw that wild pitch, this would be just a 1-0 ballgame. One pitch could tie it up.

2 runs is do-able, but the Braves need to score NOW, IMO.

Okay, okay... I popped too many pills at once. Let me try and rectify this.

The Cubs are at least 33 outs away from watching the rest of the playoffs at home.

I hope that's better.

Or a base hit.

All I was doing was making an observation based on inferences and conjectures I have accumulated over the night. I did not expect everybody and their grandmother to raise such a fuss over this impertinent comment. I was only making a conclusion and never asked for such cacophany. If you have such a proclivity to nitpick every single syllable of every single word, then I suggest you go out with celerity and continue your dolorous demeanor elsewhere, for your arguments are based on nothing but paralogism.

Pitching wins pennants. I sure hope the Giants can put away the Marlins because if they don't I can't see the Cubs losing to the Fish, not with home field advantage.

And you know what that means.....

Well if the Fish do make the series I can just about guarentee that Ozzie Guillen will be our manager, because you all remember the last time the Marlins were in the series and we were looking for a manager:

We know. Doom, gloom, death, destruction. Well, get used to

World Series.

I know one thing. If the above scenario happens, I am THROUGH
with baseball and the White Sox. THROUGH with them perma-
netly. And that means forever.

Don't say that! If you say that, the Flubbies will truly have won.

Never give up! Your Sox brethren and sistren are here for you. We have all put up with so much bullcrap for so long....I am never giving up!

I'll believe that when I see it. Whether or not the Cubs get to and win a World Series you know you'll be right back here come April.
(Now whether the Sox are still in Chicago is another story...LOL)
