This will be a pitchers duel most likely. Santana and Davis both look great.

top 3 0-0 each pitcher faced the minimum so far

Edit: the second I post that....double pierzynski

that guys even pitch to S. Stewart (with RISP, 2 out)! He is the best hitter outside of J. Jones (argument) on the Twins, and he seems to always kill us. like in that game with Garland, why do we even PITCH to Stewart?!!! Just walk him. Let frickin' injured Rivas beat you, man. NO way I choose to pitch to Shannon over Rivas or Mentkiewicz ... are you kidding me? I'll put him on base and go after the others. The latter 2 don't scare me, nor have they hit .300+ the last 4 years ...

The way that Davis was pitching to start the game, I would have pitched to almost any hitter in the league...

2 throwing errors for the twins this inning for the same runner...

Allowing casey blake who reached on a walk to get the runner to third

INDIANS take the lead with a Victor Martinez RBI double 2-1 tribe

Why isn't Jody Gerut playing? He's their best player.

There's more to hitting than batting average. Calling J.Jones their "best hitter" is laughable. Jones can't hit a slider to save his life. I don't know why pitchers throw him fastballs. He's good at mashing them, but he flails miserably at anything offspeed.

I have no argument with you calling out Rivas, but Mientkiewicz is a much better hitter than J.Jones.

Probably because the hot hitting rookie Chris Magruder is in. He hit the tying homer...

And another note, santana does not look very comfortable out there

This proves without a doubt that you are a Twins fan,you and Fwawdoodleniks are the only ones that came spell Manichevicz"s name right.

I can spell his name right as well as Pierzynski's. Uh oh...I swear I'm not a Twins fan!

Ballgame tied at 2, but a play at the plate saved the leading run from scoring

This is good. The Indians are making Minnesota overconfident for the upcoming series.

Too bad Cleveland couldn't at least keep the game close enough where Hawkins and Guardado had to make appearances, making them unavailable for tomorrow's game.

Guzman homered to deep right

Beware. Power coming from the most unexpected places. 2 homeruns all season, 2 homeruns in the last 2 games.

Indians and Tigers are getting pounded like red-headed step children.

Ouch.

It sucks to enter this Twins series in second place, but I guess we gotta do what we gotta do.

At least the Indians are still fighting the Minnie bullpen. 2nd and 3rd with no one out.

Vikings fail to convert the PAT, but hang on to beat the Browns 13-6...

So much for all the talk about "how the Indians dominated the Twins this season" eh?

They sure didn't dominate them this weekend. Neither did the Royals lose ground. They are still in this thing.

Sigh....well it's put up or shut up time. The Sox need a sweep. they won't get it but that's what they need...

Sox win three...go up 2 1/2
Sox win two..... go up 1/2

Those are their only options now.
