View Full Version : Will the SOX leave town if the Cubs win?

I read it in 1 of the Chi-town papers that if the scrubs were able to win a World Series before the SOX the SOX might as well pack their bags.

It sounds like a good poll topic.

I personally don't believe it. I never looked at attendance as much as revenue.
The SOX remain 16th in revenue. Why would they leave?

I voted "other," because the Cubs will not "win it all."

That's not nice.

Ok, fine. The thread sucks & the poll sucks. A newbie learns today never to use daily news as a source for a poll.

I just want to add 2 things before you complete trash the thread:

1) I think the SOX will end 14th in revenue this year. Maybe even better with so many weak draws in MLB this year.

2) I don't think attendance tells the whole story. The SOX have far superior parking & concessions than the scrubs.
The scrubs might outdraw the SOX by 33% each year, but I don't think the gap is as far in stadium revenue. I think it's probably less than 25%.

Ok. Trash away.
