Predictions for the rest of the way...

It pisses me off that all the media morons look at the schedule and just assume that the Twinks can coast after this series with us, while we have trouble lined up.

Boston aside, we have a winning record against everyone we have on the card, and the last time we saw Boston, we should have had the split at the very least, so that would have made us 3-3 with them.

Minnesota on the other hand, has a losing record against us, and against Cleveland. They've beat the Tigers 11 of 12, granted. But I guarantee, the Tigers will win 2 or 3 of the the last 7 with Minn.

My prediction is that the Sox will win every series for the rest of the way, with the possible exception of Boston.

Minnesota will lose 3 of their 5 remaining series after they lose today and Esteban hits the 20 win mark...

Once again I may be too optimistic on the Sox chances against KC the rest of the year, but on the other hand, I may be too optimistic about the Twins also. I think taking 2-3 or even a sweep at the Humpdome will make a huge difference.

Either way, they absolutely cannot lose any more series the rest of the season. Even a split of that last series in KC could be crucial.
