Mays no Sox-killer

I've seen a couple references lately to 'Sox-killer' Joel Mays. That couldn't be further from the truth. Sox lambasted him twice in June and also twice late last season.

That may be true, but 'ol "Cy" Mays at least used to have a history of handing it to the Sox, much like my favorite "Cy" of old - Mike Magnante.

He's out. I just wanted to clear up this misconception that the Sox can't beat him. That USED to be the case in 1999-2001, but is no longer.

Hopefully, but 2 times in a row doesn't quite make up for the 15 or so times he handed the Sox their jock on a silver platter.

It's not just two times this year, but 2 late last year also. Sox-killer? NOT!!!
