Since J.C. Romero is struggling on the left side of the pen, the Twins felt they needed a 46-year old washed up pitcher.

His era is about as big as his age.

I hope he sticks around long enough for us to face him.

KW should sign Minnie Minoso to counter this blockbuster of a trade by the Twins.

Orosco was awful for NY and I hope he's as awful for Minnesota. He's not even worth a PTBNL. I can't believe how the Yankees get so much for their players because they're a Yankee and not necessarily on how well they've done.

Did they pay for his AARP card in trade? What a desperate move

Jesse Orosco... hmm, let's see;

1) he's not someone Sox hitters haven't seen before
2) he's not a rookie! (ha ha)
3) his ERA is 7.98
4) he's not a "nobody"... I still vividly remember him during the '86 WS. Wow, that was four presidential adminstrations ago!

We all know Sox hitters have a hard time against never-seen-before no-name bush-league pitchers with ERA's in the stratosphere.

I'm worried about #3. If Orosco's current ERA matched his career ERA of 3.15, then Sox hitters would really tee off on him.

The only worth knowing about him is he gave up home runs to both of the Bondses

I remember when Orosco was traded from the Twins for Jerry Koosman, back when I was still in St. Hilarys

I'm surprised the Cubbies didn't sign him. Afterall, he was in baseball the last time the Cubbies were in the WS.
