Yeah...what's up with that?
Lately, they've been showing less and less of the games.
They'll leave certain games off. Thank God they show most of the White Sox games. I can remember only once that they didn't.
We don't get Hawk and DJ every night, but that's okay. Today, we got the Tigers broadcast.
I want to see the Twins lose, dammit!!!!!!

OK, so out of curiousity, how does it work if the Twins lose and KC loses BOTH games of the DH?

Sox -
Twins 1.5
KC 2(?)

What a catch by Adam Kennedy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sliding with his back to the infield to get a pop up.

That seems accurate to me.

And if KC splits and Minnesota loses

Sox -
KC 1
Minn 1.5

(I think)

Jurr

Yup...each loss puts them a half game back, so it would be 2 back.

I also love the way the Royals market their ball club...they show old people that have been season ticket holders for years, and talk about how much they love their "home town team"..then you hear some little jingle with a soft rock riff...
" The Kansas City Royallllsss...riff...your home town team"

If they did that with Sox fans, it would go something like this.

"Yeah..I've been a f*****g season ticket holder for 30 g*****n
years! Terry Bevington, Jerry Manuel....all those guys can kiss my a**!!!!!"

"The Chicago White Sox.......riff.......give me one more beer!!!!"""

I wonder if the Royals feel the pressure because they are behind in both the standings and number of games played?

If the weather keeps giving them doubleheaders and no days off (in order to make up games, like AZ this week), that should be a good thing for the Sox.

The Rangers starters are Benoit, Dickey, Lewis, Thompson and Valdes. Their pen has Powell, Mahay, Fultz and Cordero...By no means are any of those guys close to the calibre of our pen. I know the Texas pitching staff shouldn't be the benchmark, so lets look at our competition...

Lhose, Mays, Pulido, Radke, Mays(?) and Rogers with Santana (?), Balfour, Guardado and Hawkins. Their pen is ok, but not as strong or as deep as ours. Their starters aren't close. We worry about our 5th starter, those guys worry about their 3rd starter.

and KC has a virtual MASH unit out there. Voyles, Anderson, Abbot, Lima and May? Not a single one of those guys was a starter for them at the beginning of the year. Their Pen is improved, but still MacDougal with Lloyd, Levine, Leskanic, Affeldt and Grimsley are not better than our crew.

Our pitching is so superior to both KC and Minn it is amazing we are even close to a division race, much less mired in a three-way dogfight.
