Thanks for that link! As a 13 year-old growing up in Joliet that is still the greatest baseball summer I've ever enjoyed. You lose perspective as you get older and wonder to yourself, "was it really that great of a season?" It's nice to see someone else thinks so too. It also reminds me why I will always hate the Royals with a passion far greater than my disdain of the cubs.

I can still remember staying up late watching the games on channel 44, Harry and Jimmy in the booth, the crowd chanting "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye!" And trips to Comiskey were exactly like they described in the article, very blue collar and colorful.
