I think this hurts us on two fronts:

KC picks up a decent starting pitcher

and

the Indians just got a lot weaker. This will hurt us b/c of the amount of times they play Minn & KC down the stretch.

Anderson has a pretty good ERA considering he was pitching for a bad team.

He's having a solid year - really killing the Twins. But unless they go and pick up 3 more quality starters, KC's staff is still in trouble.

Anderson is a good pitcher and has a World Series ring with Arizona. This is the most significant pickup they've made IMO.
