The Royals held up Sweeney at 3b when Ibanez singled, so Beltran got caught off the bag at 2nd. If they'd let Mike come in, we'd be looking at a one-run game.

It's over... finally... Royals bat around and Desi Arnaz chokes at the plate... but not before Randa brought in Ibanez to make it 8-7. A loss is a loss, and we will take it. 1/2 game back! :gulp:
