All nine Democratic presidential candidates are gathering down at Navy Pier, the biggest names in the American labor movement are over at the Drake Hotel, and Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley has other plans. "I'll be watching the White Sox," Daley says.

At least he's got his head on in the right place when it
comes to baseball preferences. Just like his old man.
Kind of funny how back in the day, Da Mayor AND Fire Supt.
Quinn were both Sox Fans.

Blagoavich is a typical politician--he was on with Rooney and Farmer earlier in the season saying he was a Sox fan, and then he comes out in full Cub garb to sing the 7th inning stretch.

What a jerk. He will probably end up in prison like the last two Democratic governors (Walker & Kerner).

It's a shame that Blago is not a fine, upstanding citizen, like Gov. Ryan.

I'd have done it too....Imagine a conversation with Dean, Kucinich, Mosley-Braun and Al Sharpton? Which is the bigger goof?

How bout we put Gephardt and Edwards togother and do a photoshoot?

Geez...I'd rather go to a Sox game also. Wouldn't you?

I'd rather go to a Sox game than hang out with any politician. Nothing but a bunch of scum-sucking maggots.

The only thing that would be worse than that conversation would be a Flubs game
