This guy is unreal. From News Day:
Mondesi said it was his demand for a trade, and not his early departure from Fenway Park July 27, that prompted the Yankees to ship him to the Diamondbacks two days later. He also said he had to leave because Yankees manager Joe Torre no longer respected him and that the Yankees discriminate against players from the Dominican Republic.
