Well, at least KC has the same number of games against New York. And for whatever reason, I think we can take 3 from Boston. That leaves Oakland, who hopefully the Sox can take 2 from this week. All very optimistic, I know.

The problem comes in the Cleveland and Detroit games. The Jndjans can play well for stretches, so maybe they'll split with Minnesota...though I wouldn't bet on it.

Eh, all this scheduling doesn't mean crap if the Sox play well, it also doesn't mean crap if they play like...well, crap. So just play the games guys, and as always...

There are enough games against each other in September. I think the Sox need to reduce the race to hinging on those games. It will be very important not to lay an egg on the mini west coast trip next week. Trips to Anaheim (as well as Oakland and Seattle) always seem to hurt the Sox.

Just an update after last weekend

I don't care who we play. If we play solid Defense and continue to get the starting pitching, except Wright, we have been getting, we can compete with anyone.

I for one like ESPN ignoring us. Lets us sneak up on some teams. We can take 2 of 3 from NY at home and in NY. Just depends on which Sox team shows up.
