According to The Sportingnews, (http://www.sportingnews.com/baseball/articles/20030804/486418.html) the Sox are close to signing relief pitcher Jose Paniagua to a minor league contract.

Not really a "name" guy, but could this be a decent righty out of the pen we were looking for?

Can't do any worse than the guys we threw out there last night.

But before that, he was in the Mariners pen in 2001 and lit us up.

Why not give him a shot, he's been great before and he's been terrible before, I think it's worth it for KW to give him a chance, especially on a minor league contract.

Bread & Water. That's great! LMAO :)

Sign him to a minor league deal. If he impresses then promote him and send down Matt 12-something ERA Ginter.

Kind of like Estaban, huh? You never know about some guys. Who would we send down if in fact we sign him and bring him up? Ginter?
