With all these changes I'm quite confused... and not that it REALLY matters... but, what is the starting pitcher rotation right now??

Wright (or whoever's the fifth starter), won't need to pitch everytime around the rotation.

Correct. The fifth starter will be needed on the following dates, assuming no rookies pitch after September 1:

August: 12, 17, 22;
September: 11, 21, 26

That translates to...

Aug 12-@ANA
Aug 17-@TEX
Aug 22-TEX
Sept 11-MIN
Sept 21-KC
Sept 26-@KC

They will be on a 4-man rotation by those last three games, or so they say. With those games being that important, I doubt we see a "fifth starter" in those games.

"Now let's see. 100-pitch limit but pitchers pitch 20% more, so that means I'll have to go with an 80-pitch limit."

"I guess I'd better be ready to come in in the fifth."

Can anyone tell me how Wright won 14 games last year?

When the Sox were rolling in September after being way out of it (surprise), Wright won seven of his eight starts or something like that, which probably dated back to August. Because of his performing in that high-pressure time of the season for the Sox, a lot of people thought he was going to do well this year. Unfortunately, the people weren't and Wright wasn't quite right.
