I won't be able to go to any of the games that weekend because I'll be in Madison at school, but I can recommend some places to hang out at before the game right around the stadium. Hockeytown, which is right across the street from the stadium is a pretty cool sports bar to chill at before the game. Also, right down the street, about 2 or 3 blocks from the stadium, is a place called the Town Pump, which is a nice pre-game bar as well, decent food, and alcohol cheaper than in the stadium obviously. There's no real good place to tailgate or anything like that really if you're into that, but if you really wanna do the tailgating thing you're gonna have to go right up to the stadium and pay $20 for parking and you can sort of make your own party or something. Other than that I wouldn't really go anywhere else because there isn't much close to the stadium, and to be honest, there aren't too many fun things to do in Detroit period, and the area around the stadium if probably the nicest area, although Detroit is getting a lot nicer. Um, and if you've got the itch we've got some casinos, which could be fun before the game as long as you leave a winner.

Oh, and Greektown is pretty cool too and not too far from the stadium, lots of bars and food and a casino as well. I don't know, but I'd guess you could probably get some kind of shuttle from Greektown to the game if you were so inclined.
