Twinks tie it already (Stewart HR). Meanwhile, Royals have leadoff hitter on against TB.

Didn't Ibańez just come off a stapf infection? Gee, maybe some of our players should get stapf infections to improve their game.

Crawford singles, steals second, scores on a Marlon Anderson single. Manufactured run makes it 5-4 Tampa Bay with 2 down in the 2nd.

First and second with no out in the bottom of the 2nd... Doesn't look like it will last too much longer.

Not long. KC is threatening again. 1st and 2nd, no one out. Sweet Lou has already gone to the pen.

5-5 KC and TB tied. Bases loaded, 1 out.
Here is the bottom line.
We can't rely on any other teams. We have to do it ourselves. Period.

The Twins are pounding Detroit. They have some obnoxious winning streak against the Motor City Kitties... I don't think it'll be broken tonight. It's still early (4th inning), but a 7 run lead is a 7 run lead.

Royals pull Lima. Game tied at 5 but TB has two on (1st & 2nd) and one out.

(Tampa Bay) Just another team that implodes....
Except when they beat the Sox three times.
and this quote was interesting:
We can't rely on any other teams. We have to do it ourselves. Period.
and that is where the concerns about the difficult Sox schedule come in don;t they????? The Sox had a chance in the first half to give themselves a cushion and they didn't do it. Now they may pay the price for it.

Did anyone else see that Lima left the TB game with an undisclosed injury...could Lima time be coming to a screeching halt?
