Just asking...

Has CE done anything of note since he arrived in our fair city??? :?:

He's had some big hits. He had a big 2-out hit that scored 2 runs last week. He had a big hit last night. He's quietly producing well.

By my count he's had 3 game winning hits so far. He may not be hitting the cover off the ball, but he's getting the hits that the team needs.

Not as much as most of us would like (though he's had a couple of good moments at the plate). That means he is due, right?

Can you imagine how lethal this line up would/will be if/when Carl heats up? Remember what he was like earlier this year, or in Boston a few years ago? When Carl heats up he's slapping doubles and nailing dingers like Crede hits pop ups.

every time i wait for Everett to get a homer. I want some power, and am sick of him stopping innings. But if he keeps getting gwh go ahead play

I think just as significantly, he hasn't done anything negative.

Everett is a LH bat with power and plays an ok CF. He'll walk at the end of the season, hopefully, and get us a draft pick if we offer arbitration. It's nice to have a lefty batting behind Maggs and solidfies the lineup. He's had some clutch hits and is more consistent than anyone else we were putting out there.
