The Yankees trade is interesting just because no one really knows what happens to Ventura now and the guy they gave up is a stud. They are saying that Ventura might go to L.A...

He's only batting like .258 or something right now. He did have a 2 HR game last night but I just don't know how much of an impact he will make.

He's never played in the AL, so the league switch could plunge him into a length slump. He's a very streaky hitter.

The yanks got Boone? Who cares. He may be good ,but he's not all that, and he's an NL guy. He won't do that well (but they DO have a fierce lineup, which always helps). Who'd the Yanks give up?

I'd much rather face Aaron Boone in the playoffs than Robin Ventura.

Yankees, please. Weak.

The Dan Patrick show has minor leaguer from the Yankees who was traded to the Reds, didn't catch a name.

OK, ESPN radio just confirmed the Yankee deal with the Reds

Reds get Clausen (Yank's #1 pitching prospect)
Yanks get Boone

They also stated that Robin is as good as gone to the Dodgers.
