Who, you ask?

To join former and now current Cub Doug Glanville, it's none other than the great Matt Stairs.

Seriously, are they starting a Flub alumni league? If they hadn't traded Jose Hernandez, I'd be absolutely convinced.

Why do they need Fat Stairs? :?: Whatever, more fodder for the anti-cub in all of us.

I don't get it.I thought the cubs had money & prospects to spend.Cub fans must be wondering what they are doing.

They are counting their money and promising the future to Cubs fans. And you know what? It is working like a charm.

I heard they got Stairs because they want to send Choi back to Iowa. Either way, with the moves they are making, why bother?

Cub fans are too drunk to know the difference. After seeing Glanville and Stairs (and they probably still think Hernandez is on team) they must think they're living in the mid to late '90's.

Too bad their portfolios don't indicate the same thing.

Just heard on the Score that reports from Dallas and Chicago have the Scrub re-acquiring Raffy "I couldnt keep my hands off Ryno's wife" Palmeiro from Texas.

Seems like another McWhiff acquisition to me. The guy is about 40 and is hitting .242 in one of the best hitter's parks in the league. He does have 24 homers though.

Choi, Karros, Raffy - 3 1Bs
Goodwin, Lofton, Glanville - 3 CFs

How can you manage an NL team with that little flexibility?

I cannot stop laughing everytime I see one of those Viagara ads.

I can see the promo: "Screwing your teammates wife? Then you need the little blue diamond. Say hello to the folks, Cindy."

Cindy:"If only they had invented this sooner, then Ryno and I might still be married..."

Cubs have way bigger issues, but there are so many problems on that team, that I wouldn't know where to begin. They have the potential to make the playoffs with a few moves - especially in that division, but they won't do well in the playoffs. Too many holes...

this is so funny. yesterday i told my bro (a cub fan) that they got glanville back, and he was like "cool, now they should bring matt stairs back!" cub fans are so dumb.

on the cubs board, the fans are calling out for glenallen hill and julio zuleta.

yes, even raffy and his viagra wont get the cubs "up" in the standings.

Next time you hear a Cubbie fan talk about the Sox 'trading away the future...' bring up the Cubbies dealing Raffy and Moyer for one year wonder "Wild Thing." From most Cubbie fans, you'll hear the distinctive sound of back pedaling, as they defend trading away the future for a chance to win.

Just more smoke and mirrors by the Cubune. Glanville will be brought in for his penchant for solid quotes in the paper. Fool Cubbie fans and sell more papers?!? Genius. Pure Genius.

I did read thay John Leiber has started throwing for the Yankees and maybe be able to pitch next month. Just what the Yankees need, more starting pitching.
