OK, How many games back are we gonna be after this series?

I think they will take 2/3 and be 3 out which is fine, b/c we need to hold the line in Seattle and then sweep KC in the Cell. If we sweep that would be a bonus, but I am worried about Garland.

How hot would it be to run off another 7 or 8 in a row? Seattle's limping. KC's not putting any emphasis on this series. And how long have we waited for the stars to align and the Sox to roll off a streak like winning 20 out of their last 22, like the A's and Angels did last year?

Ah yes...

In all honesty, I would be satisfied with winning 1 in Seattle. As bad as we play there, "hold the line" is a very good way of putting it. If we win 2 in KC, we can win 1 in Seattle and go home with a .500 road trip. That's definitely respectable. Then, we get KC in our house, and that's where we make things happen.

Obviously, I am hoping for at least 2 out of three, but, if the unthinkable happens and we get swept, I would hope that KW pulls the pin on this team and think about rebuilding.
