I have looked all over the place, and not found one, but where can I find a hat (fitted) with this logo on it? I've seen several on people this year, but never in stores.

:lsox

Thanks

My Brother bought one in a hat store called "Lids" - they are found in pretty much any large mall.

Lids will definitely have it. I've seen it there.

Grandstand at 35th and Wallace will have it too.

Nothing is as expensive as the ballpark. Grandstand is like any other store. The prices are normal in my opinion.

Plus if you're a Windy City Sox Fans member, if you show them your card, you get 10% off the top.

GrandStands prices are BETTER than at the Ballpark.
FItted hat for example:
Comiskey $30
Grandstand $24

Speaking of finding hats. I know this probably won't be popular around here, but I'm looking for a fitted late 80's hat (the cursive C). I'm thinking it has a "so uncool, it's cool" look to it. Either that or I'm crazy. Does anyone know if Grandstand has it? Thanks.

My wife go me that, along with an authentic 85 Jersey with my name and # on it for my b-day. The hat is from the Cooperstown Collection and The Twins Enterprise. I will talk to her and see if she knows where she bought it from.

Is the late 70s blue jersey with the collar on it....

Does anyone have any idea how many different Jerseys we have had in 30 years?

FYI-

For you bobblehead collector's out there, Pete and Rosemary (from Grandstand) have the 3-set of Fisk, Minoso and Maggs for $29.99. These were the bobbles released by Pepsi in 2001 and 2002. Really cool deal, so check into it.

Off topic, did anyone else know that Pete and Rosemary also own the peanut-selling business outside the park? No joke. Rosemary is in charge of setting up these little peanut stands at the four corners of the park on the street. Interesting side business for these guys.

Also, Grandstand has some cool jerseys in. They have the '59 Aparacio jersey and the '72 Home and Road Dick Allen jerseys (although I think they sold out of the powder blue road). They also have a '72 warm-up jersey that never really existed.

I don't work for Grandstand, but it's a cool place.

Thanks Brian, I've been waiting for the '72 to come out.

I got that same hat for my best friend. I usually get all my throwback stuff at this site. They are in Atlanta, but I highly recommend them. And, NO I don't work for them! :D:

1987 Sox Hat and other Old School hats as well (http://distant-replay.com/caps.html)

I love that hat.
I think we wore that hat 1 year - 1990 - the last year in Comiskey (could be wrong about the dates).

The Sox wore it from 1987-1990

Hey guys, seeing as you helped the last guy out, I was wondering if you guys could help me too. I just got a White Sox jersey and I want to get my name sewn in to it. I was wondering if anybody knows where I can get that done... :?:

On the advice of people on this board, I took it to Grandstand which is discussed earlier in this thread. They did a great job.

They are about 4 blocks west of the stadium on 35th street. I think it is the first light, right on the corner.

Thanks to everyone that responded to my question. I'll buy it before next Monday's game and then I'll be one of the like four people at the game with that hat. :D:
