Cheers to Paulie for really taking one for the team. That had to smart! Maybe the biggest RBI of the year. :gulp: :gulp: :gulp:

I think Billy Koch said it best tonight: "At first I said it was the easiest RBI you'll ever get, but then I realized that it hit you on the cup and that's the toughest RBI you'll ever get," Koch said.

and to think if he was PH or DH he probably wouldn't be wearing a cup. :o:

I guess Koch figured he had to contribute something positive tonight.

RBI must now mean "run balled in"

If Torn Labrum got hit there he might have to change his name to TornScrotum.

I finally saw this on the highlights. Oooof. Paulie, if you were looking for a way to show the world you've still got a pair, this was not the way to do it.

I love how the lead guy on BBTN (I don't recall his name from tonight), said, "And Paul Konerko gets hit in the ribs."

I'll admit, it was difficult to see from a side angle, but if you saw where PK's hand went right away, it's not that difficult to tell.

Paulie did a little Homer Simpson impression, getting hit somewhere you dont wanna get hit and getting the game winning rbi.

I thought his pinch hit homer against the Twins was as big as this one, certainly more dramatic. But Kudos to Paulie. Glad he's getting back on track.

As Chris Rock said-

"If you see a homeless person with a funny sign, he isn't homeless. Homeless people are too hungry to be funny."

Samething applies to Billy Koch, except too bad to be funny.

Now we can call him "Paulie Soprano." Sounds like a TV
character.

And IMO the best part of the Sun Times' article was the title:

"Nuttin' to it"
:D:

LMAO! Maybe that's why he's so slow. If he's batting with wood all the time I'm sure it's "hard" to "leg out" a hit.

How could they NOT print it. It's such a great sound bite.
