Boy, ESPN is just waiting for the Sox to fail. JM should motivate this team by printing this stuff and putting it in the clubhouse. In 2000 they had that underdog mentality, maybe it is time to use it again.

Is this the only picture anyone has of KW? You'd think the PR Department would make it a point to get a shot of Williams where he doesn't look like the biggest moron on the planet... or maybe they just couldn't find one? :o:

Better hope the Sox don't fall out of contention or else wer'e going to wind up with a lot of Jon Adkins type pitchers on this team.

Assuming the Sox fall apart in the next week (which wouldn't surprise me the way the season has been going) I wouldn't trade Bartolo Colon unless the Sox can get more then the equivalent of early draft picks. No more trading for 24 year old AAA pitchers with shoulder problems.

Also, the article mentioned trading Koch if the Sox fall out of it. Why not trade him if the Sox are still in it?? It makes sense to me. He's killing the team and dumping him makes the bullpen more effective.

Anyone know of any teams want an overrated closer who lost his fastball?
