KW and JR, get on the phone NOW. Begging, pleading, roses, chocolates, whatever it takes. Get Fisk in the Cell's 3B dugout TONIGHT. If this were announced at 12 noon today, there would be 35,000 butts in the seats -- or standing and cheering wildly -- tonight against the Tigers. I might fly up from Dallas just to be there.

Great article ... I'm with you xil ... Pudge would probably significantly increase the attendance for the rest of the season and beyond.

Wow. If he's the manager I am going to every home game.

Isn't amazing how this would seem like the ideal managerial move for the White Sox in the next couple years, but probably won't? With his home here, this would seem like the "perfect" scenerio, but how much will it take for JR to actually allow this to happen?

Fisk as manager will not only help rebuild ties between him and JR, but rebuild some bridges between White Sox fans.

If there's anything we want to see, it's intensity in our players and intensity in our manager and front office. Fisk commands intensity and won't tolerate and of the crap we see with the Sox teams of the past few seasons.

This move in my eyes WOULD bring a pennant to Chicago on the South Side and fill the seats at the Cell.

Ah, dreams....

I would LOVE to see this happen. In fact, I'd be buying tickets to his first game! Ever since Fisk was ushered out of town, the team really hasn't been the same.

I'd love to see it, but there's no way in hell Fisk will ever be a Yes-man, so it won't happen.
